Top 5 2020 MAMA Stage Performances, Ranked
The first thing I want to say is that I thought all the stage performances for the 2020 MAMAs (Mnet Asian Music Awards) were terrific. I’ve been watching the yearly award shows for the past five years, and I have never been this excited about all the stages. It could be because I, like many other music fans, am craving concerts, or it could have been the strong coffee I drank to survive the 6-hour show. Either way, I was extremely pleased with how the stages went. Hopefully, you had a similar experience with the MAMA awards.
The second thing is that I’m considering the full stage performance set as one piece. For example, NCTU’s 23-minute masterpiece? One set. Taemin’s brief but lovely performance? One set. It makes it easier for my brain and honestly, you don’t want to split anything up. I will, however, provide the clips of the smaller performances because that’s how Mnet broke them up when I was writing this, okay?
